In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth and saw that it was good. God created the land and the seas, the fish and the birds, the trees and the mountains – and saw that it was good. God then created man and from man he created woman – and the woman was deceived by the serpent to find out if what was said was True. Humans desire what is true, we crave the truth about life and death, we crave the truth about the motivations and the desires of others and that is how we are all connected. But we often times will try to hide out true selves from being revealed, we want the truth from others but will deceive ourselves and hide the truth from others – especially if the truth is something we don’t want.
Truth is true. There is no changing what is true. In the society we live in today, I constantly hear people say “my truth”. Truth is not singular to one person. If something is true then it’s true. If you believe something is true, but it is actually false then you are deceiving yourself and holding yourself back from the freedom that the truth gives. All good things have their truths, and all evil have their false claims. The more that society commits to false claims and accusations, the more evil it becomes – (Evil – the absence of what is good and the absence of God in our life – similar to the scientific principles of darkness being the absence of Light, and coldness being the absence of heat).
There are two Kinds of Truth – 1) the kind that sets you free and 2) the kind that leaves you buried in darkness.
Truth hurts. The truth may not be what you want, but it is what sets you free. The truth that leaves you buried in darkness is not truth at all, it’s all a fantasy of people’s ideas. We all walk the same path, but some decide to go on detours or alternate routes that do nothing but distract us from the overall goal of having a successful life – however that looks to each person. Struggling through hard truths will make us stronger if we can accept it – just like a beautiful butterfly cracking out of its cocoon – a moth or butterfly struggles when it starts to hatch out of the cocoon but that struggle out of the cocoon will make it stronger. We learn more from our mistakes and from the struggle of hard truths
The Truth is one of the most valuable assets a person must have in life. It is valuable because it is rare, it is far easier to accept the deception you tell yourself in the moment to avoid having to face the struggle of the implication and consequences that you may face if you were to accept it. Truth is an asset, like any asset it can add to your life – the more money you invest in your home or financial investments the more it will increase your profitability of that investment – the more you invest in the truth, the more it will increase your productivity in moving forward with your life and acceptance of yourself.
Truth and justice go hand in hand, you cannot have justice without the truth.
